PGA Tour - Pat Perez triumphs in Mexico

In obvious trolling of Donald Trump a bloke called Perez won the PGA Tour’s OHL Classic at Mayakoba in Mexico.

In the same week Trump was voted President the likable Pat Perez claimed a two shot victory over Gary Woodland, with Russell ‘How-the-hell-did-I-not-get-a-Ryder-Cup-pick’ Knox one shot further back in third.

All the more incredible was that the mulleted 40-year old was only in his third event back after shoulder surgery.

The win hoists Perez up to third in the Fed-Ex Standings in it’s very early days behind the leader Hideki Matsuyama and Justin Thomas who won in Malaysia.

This is Perez’s first win for seven years and the since he came out on tour he’d been known to be somewhere between showing his heart on his sleeve to full blown tantrums. Either way the PGA Tour even recommended he sought anger management therapy to which he declined… *hopefully by punching someone in the face!

*Not sure if that did happen. Also we don’t condone punching people in the face!
**Unless it’s Donald Trump
