Mackenzie Hughes wins at Sea Island on PGA Tour

Some dude called Mackenzie Hughes, who I think played Gareth in The Office, won a Monday morning playoff on the PGA Tour this week.

In the RSM Classic, which is possibly lower down on the pecking order than the Rotherham Golf Club Saturday roll up, the Canadian triumphed in a five man playoff with a birdie on the third playoff hole.

That was basically the only good thing about this tournament, that there was a five man playoff which was mildly more entertaining than Honey G on X-Factor, as they all slapped balls down the 18th a couple of times together.

At one point there were markers all around the hole no further away than a foot and Billy Horschel managed to completely miss the hole, which when you’re not him, and you realise he won about $400million in the Fed-Ex Cup a couple of years back, was quite funny.

The other guys in the playoff were the flexible Columbian (Don’t type that in a search engine) Camilo Villegas along with a Swede called Henrik Norlander and an American called Blayne Barber… nah me neither!

Stewart Cink who we reported on his amazing story earlier in the week finished T10.

In other news Davis Love III was floating about in a little cap as the host of the tournament and the Sky Studio was shocking.

I shit you not in the studio they had Gary Christian whose caption read ‘Played in the RSM Classic in 2012’ and whose Wikipedia page says ‘Christian appeared on the TV show The Weakest Link in 2001.’

And even worse was the absolute melt Simon Holmes whose caption read ‘Coach of Nick Faldo 1989-1993.’

If they are paying these guys more than minimum wage it’s a travesty and we should all get reimbursements on our subscription fee!
