Hideki Matsuyama crept under the Tiger Woods radar to absolutely smash up the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas.
He was so far ahead going into the final day he could shoot a one over par 73 to win by two from Henrik Stenson.
When we were all fawning over Tiger and remembering the GOAT in 2000, it was the Japanese 24-year old showing the insane form.
He has won his last three events and four in the last five with a letdown of a second place in between!
He absolutely looks the real deal and the talk of Big Threes, Fours, Fives and Sixes has officially got to go now. Strength in depth in golf is surely as high as it has ever been!
How much does it whet the appetite when you have Day, McIlroy and Spieth from last year then you add Dustin, Stenson and now Hideki into the mix... next season is going to be awesome!
But if we're completely honest all eyes were on Tiger and it was great to see some glimpses of magic. A few early birdie runs inevitably fizzled out but to see Eldrick come through unscathed was enough.
He can definitely compete at the highest level and the 19 majors is back on isn't it?!
And I for one can't wait. Nobody moves the dial and creates the excitement of Tiger and everybody in the game will benefit from his return.
