There are a million charity days up and down the country every day and we can’t by any stretch give the publicity to all who deserve it.
But there are so many incredible stories and brilliant causes we have to tell some.
Josh Fell was tragically taken away from us age 15, he died from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome. He was a fit and healthy young man with his whole life ahead of him.
The young lad passed away doing something he loved, playing football in Yorkshire, and now the local community and indeed Hornsea Golf Club have rallied around to help spread the positivity that Josh had.
So after last year doing 100 holes and finding it ‘easy’ Joe Palmer and Lee Gawley are doing 150 holes in one day, teeing off at 4am and finishing by dark at 10pm.
This is all raising money for CRY UK who give free heart screenings to young adults from 14-35.
Absolutely fantastic effort and would be cool if you could go down there on the 24th June to support (and eat burgers from the BBQ) or donate on the JustGiving page.
